• You will create and maintain customer and material orders in the system
• You will determine and plan stock levels independently
• You will monitor items and item groups with regard to stock trends and availability
• In consultation with the Sales department, you will manage and monitor customer requirements
• You will process orders using IT systems and handle delivery calls and EDI data transfers
• You will assist customers in the strip and wire sector with enquiries regarding component supply
• You will support the accounts receivable team in tracking outstanding items
• You will deliver presentations independently and prepare their content
• You draw up quotations and evaluate them in terms of terms and conditions and cost-effectiveness
• You carry out market and competitive analyses to inform sales decisions

• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, for example as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), a wholesale and foreign trade management clerk (m/f/d) or hold a comparable qualification
• You are naturally confident in using IT systems and standard office software such as MS Office
• You impress with your structured and independent approach to work
• You are characterised by strong communication skills and a confident manner when dealing with customers
• You possess the analytical skills required to carry out market and competitive analyses
