• You will plan and manage incoming goods deliveries as part of inbound logistics, thereby ensuring a smooth flow of goods between industrial partners and the distribution centre
• You will continuously monitor delivery dates and follow up on outstanding orders
• You will coordinate the time slots for lorry deliveries to the logistics centre with suppliers and hauliers
• You will continuously optimise stock levels in the warehouse, avoiding both stock-outs and excess stock
• In the ERP system (usually SAP), you maintain and manage forecast parameters and product master data
• Based on stock levels and forecast figures, you analyse product availability and derive appropriate measures
• You will be in close daily contact with industry partners, haulage contractors and internal departments such as goods-in and quality assurance
• In the event of delivery delays, damaged goods or bottlenecks, you will quickly seek solutions and adjust the planning accordingly

• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, ideally as a freight forwarding clerk (m/f/d), as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk (m/f/d) or a wholesale and foreign trade clerk (m/f/d),
• you are confident in using standard ERP systems, particularly SAP R3,
• you have a sound knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
• you possess strong analytical skills when dealing with stock and forecast figures
• You have a flair for numbers; previous experience in bookkeeping is an advantage
• You have strong organisational skills and can keep track of things even when dealing with multiple delivery dates
• You demonstrate a high level of communication and teamwork skills in your day-to-day dealings with suppliers, hauliers and internal departments
• In the event of delivery delays or bottlenecks, you respond flexibly and with a focus on finding solutions
• You work independently and reliably, ensuring that remote working suits you well once you’ve completed your induction
