• You will plan and organise the warehouse areas and ensure efficient use of space
• You will also lead the logistics team, allocate tasks and ensure smooth operations in the planning department
• You will coordinate stock receipts and dispatches and liaise with the relevant departments
• You will act as the point of contact for RWM’s sister companies regarding the storage of components
• You will handle HR matters, conduct job interviews and arrange temporary staffing
• You will handle export, customs and KWKG matters independently and ensure they are processed correctly
• In the area of dangerous goods, you will act as the dangerous goods safety adviser and ensure compliance with legal regulations
• You will conduct HSE and safety briefings for staff and monitor compliance with health and safety regulations
• You will organise transport and deliveries and coordinate these with hauliers and internal departments
• You will monitor stock levels and stock movements and document them carefully in the system
• Where necessary, you will undertake business trips to liaise with sites and partners

• You must have a degree in logistics or, alternatively, a qualification or master craftsman’s certificate in logistics
• You have several years’ professional experience in logistics
• You have several years’ management experience in this field
• You have knowledge of exports, customs, the KWKG (German Energy Act) and the transport of dangerous goods
• You have a good command of written and spoken English
• Possession of a §20 licence is an advantage
• You have a basic command of spoken German (minimum level)
• You are a team player and communicate clearly and persuasively
• You are goal- and performance-oriented and able to work independently
• You are willing to travel on business
• A valid work permit is required
