• You will work in a team of 10 scientific staff and actively contribute to the joint project work
• You will support the BMWi's specialist communication in the field of energy research and act as an interface between the ministry and research
• You will be responsible for target group-oriented public relations work and provide content and editorial support for print and online media, such as specialist articles, brochures and website content
• Together with the specialist scientists:
• within project funding, you will identify and journalistically process high-profile research results
• maintaining and updating the division's website are part of your regular tasks
• you will organise events, such as status seminars, strategy meetings and workshops, from programme planning to supervising speakers
• developing a communication strategy for the division in close coordination with the ministry is also part of your responsibilities

• You have a university degree (master's or diploma), ideally in communication or science journalism
• You have journalistic training or many years of experience in public relations
• You have knowledge of press, media and copyright law as well as basic knowledge of layout; you are familiar with website editing systems
• You have a strong interest in research and innovation policy topics and are confident in working in an environment of current developments.
• You communicate fluently and with confidence in German (C2 level)
• You are also prepared to travel occasionally (approx. once a month)
• Personally, you impress with your confident and skilful manner, especially when dealing with representatives from science, business and politics
