• You will start as an accountant (m/f/d) in the Finance and Controlling team, with the prospect of taking on a management role in the medium term
• You will independently analyse business variances and propose corrective measures for business accounting, operations and plant managers – for example, in relation to the profit and loss account, operating costs, CAPEX, standard costs or cost accounting
• You reliably meet reporting requirements and deadlines
• You prepare and analyse monthly closing reports, quarterly reports and quarterly forecasts in accordance with guidelines, and you are also involved in the planning process
• You carry out detailed checks on stock levels, regularly review stock controls and ensure that there is no risk of loss; You carefully take provisions into account
• You maintain the standard cost system and analyse production variances on a weekly basis
• Recording and processing supplier invoices (accounts payable/AP) rounds off your remit

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a comparable qualification, such as a qualification as a Certified Controller (IHK) (m/f/d) or from the Controller Academy, with at least 2 years’ experience in the finance team of a manufacturing company carrying out controlling tasks
• Alternatively, you have at least 5 years’ experience as an industrial clerk (m/f/d) in the controlling department of a manufacturing company
• You have a command of both German and English at least at B2 level, both spoken and written
• You have the ambition to take on a management role in the medium term (~5 years); initial management experience would be an advantage
• You are confident in using MS Office; in particular, you will stand out with your advanced Excel skills (macros or Power Pivot)
