• You will be responsible for maintaining and further developing existing manufacturing software as a redundant development instance
• When analysing the existing source code, you will reconstruct the business logic, rectify errors and optimise the software’s performance
• You will ensure the software works seamlessly with complex hardware and support the analysis of technical interdependencies
• Throughout the entire software lifecycle, you will oversee requirements analysis, implementation, testing and deployment
• You will carry out code reviews, build and release processes, and source code documentation, and support the continuous improvement of development processes using Scrum and CI/CD

• You have a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Media Informatics, Computer Engineering or a comparable qualification
• You also have at least five years’ professional experience in C++ software development and are proficient in using MFC in a legacycode environment
• You have a technical understanding of complex hardware systems and experience in the interaction between software and networks
• You are also experienced in working with MySQL, as well as with googletest, Git, CMake and CI tools
• You have a command of German and English at C1 level or above
• To fulfil this role of responsibility, in addition to your technical expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and be a permanent resident in Germany
