Senior Site Manager for Building and Civil Engineering (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

the overall management and supervision of several construction projects in buildingand civil engineering. You’ll oversee and coordinate all construction processes, including monitoring deadlines, costs and invoicing. You’ll liaise regularly and closely with senior management regarding the project status. You’ll ensure compliance with building regulations, quality standards and health and safety guidelines on all construction sites; you communicate with clients, authorities and planning partners, and represent the projects externally; you coordinate and provide technical guidance to subcontractors, site managers and other project stakeholders. You will coordinate and provide technical guidance to them. You will be responsible for project management as well as schedule and cost planning throughout the entire construction process. In the context of contract amendment management, you will review and process contract amendments and assist with contract administration. You will consistently implement relevant standards, guidelines and regulations – including the VOB – consistently. You develop solution-oriented decisions on technical and organisational issues and ensure they are implemented. You keep a close eye on costs and budgets and, where necessary, conduct negotiations with clients and subcontractors. You utilise construction and project software, such as RIB iTWO and MS Project, to help plan and document projects

What we’re looking for

• You have successfully completed a degree in civil engineering
• You have several years’ professional experience in construction management, ideally in building construction and civil engineering
• You possess in-depth knowledge of project management, schedule and cost planning, as well as change order management
• You are well versed in the application of relevant standards, guidelines and regulations, including the VOB
• You have several years’ experience in independently managing complex construction projects
• Experience in dealing with clients, public authorities and planning partners is part of your profile
• You have experience in coordinating site managers, subcontractors and other project stakeholders
• We require a good knowledge of common construction and project software, e.g. RIB iTWO, MS Project, as well as scheduling and costing software
• You possess good leadership, team and communication skills
• Problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to make decisions and get things done, are among your strengths
• A strong awareness of costs and excellent negotiation skills round off your profile
• An independent, responsible and solution-oriented approach to work comes naturally to you
