Service technician

Your responsibilities

• You will install new systems or equipment directly on site at the customer’s premises and commission them
• You will independently identify and analyse technical faults in mechanical, electronic or hydraulic systems
• You will regularly inspect and clean components to prevent breakdowns
• You will replace faulty parts and repair the affected equipment
• You will advise customers on site and explain technical details and safety rules to them
• As part of your field service role, you will maintain the systems and equipment directly at customers’ premises

What we’re looking for

• You have completed an apprenticeship as an electronics technician (m/f/d), mechatronics technician (m/f/d) or industrial mechanic (m/f/d)

or hold a comparable qualification

• You have previous experience in the field of control cabinet wiring, commissioning and fault analysis
• You are also familiar with hand soldering
• You understand electrical diagrams and can work to them
• You have a basic command of written and spoken German
• You have a good command of English for communicating with international customers
• You are willing to travel for field assignments
• Reliability, the ability to work in a team and a precise and proactive approach to your work are your strengths
• a valid work permit for Germany rounds off your profile
