• As part of your role, you will provide on-site customer service for the client’s high-quality weather stations, thereby ensuring the collection of reliable data for the clients
• You will also be responsible for the installation, professional commissioning and regular maintenance of complex meteorological measuring equipment and modern systems throughout the DACH region
• You will also oversee the repair, calibration and precise adjustment of sensitive measuring equipment, either on-site or at the factory, in accordance with all applicable quality standards
• Careful documentation and detailed evaluation of all test results using digital tools are also part of your daily tasks, ensuring a complete history of the systems
• Furthermore, you will assist with technical fault analysis in the event of complex malfunctions and develop sustainable solutions to ensure the long-term operational readiness of the installed systems at the customer’s site
• Finally, you will be responsible for delivering professional training at the customer’s premises on our specialist equipment and the associated software applications to ensure users make optimal use of the systems

• A completed apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d) or electronics technician (m/f/d) as well as further training as a state-certified technician (m/f/d) specialising in electrical engineering or mechatronics form your professional foundation
• In addition, you have sound professional experience in technical service or in the commissioning of sensitive measuring devices, ideally in the field of environmental or automation technology under changing operating conditions
• You are particularly skilled in common IT skills and the use of diagnostic software and MS Office for daily reporting and data analysis
• You have a native level of written and spoken German and a good command of English for internal communication and supporting international customers:
• In addition, you have a high degree of willingness to travel within Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well as a strong service orientation and time flexibility for your assignments
• In addition to your professional expertise, you also have a valid work permit and a permanent residence in Germany to perform this responsible position
