• You will convert machinery and equipment in accordance with production orders and specifications, and set them up for production
• You will correctly adjust tools, jigs and machine parameters in accordance with drawings and test plans
• You carry out initial sampling of new or re-configured parts and document the results
• You use measuring equipment for quality assurance and check the dimensions and surfaces of the manufactured parts
• You monitor the ongoing production process and adjust machine parameters in the event of deviations
• In the event of faults with machines and plant, you analyse the cause and rectify it
• You carry out maintenance and repair work on machines and plant
• You take responsibility for tool changes and wear checks
• You document set-up procedures, test results and faults in a traceable manner
• You consistently adhere to health and safety regulations and workplace order

• You have completed an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), a machining mechanic (m/f/d) or a toolmaker (m/f/d), or a comparable qualification as a machine setter (m/f/d)
• You have already gained professional experience in setting up and preparing machines and plant
• Your technical understanding is a strong point
• You can confidently read and implement drawings and test plans
• You work carefully and reliably with measuring equipment
• Good written and spoken German are part of your profile
• You are willing to work shifts
• A valid work permit completes your profile
