• You will be responsible for the organisation of the proper operation and maintenance of the public sewerage network, taking into account statutory and technical requirements
• you will also be responsible for forward-planning work organisation, as well as providing professional training and guidance to all qualified staff reporting to you in day-to-day operations
• furthermore, you will oversee the comprehensive documentation, accurate costing and continuous monitoring of all pending work orders to ensure the smooth running of all operational processes
• Your responsibilities also include structured scheduling for the cleaning of the sewer network, CCTV inspections and the organisation of new connections and maintenance measures
• As part of your role, you will support the reliable implementation of fault management and the rapid resolution of unforeseen incidents across the entire waste management area
• Furthermore, you will support the needs-based organisation of all necessary operational resources, such as tools, equipment, consumables and the vehicle fleet for upcoming operations
• Finally, you will be responsible for the technical acceptance of completed construction work and the careful verification of incoming invoices, and you will participate in the emergency on-call service

• You have successfully completed a recognised further training programme to become a wastewater technician (m/f/d) or an apprenticeship as a specialist in wastewater technology (m/f/d) or an environmental technician (m/f/d)
• you also have several years’ solid professional experience in the municipal utilities sector or in the field of public waste management and environmental engineering
• you stand out for your confident use of MS Office and geographic information systems (GIS), complemented by Class B and C1 driving licences
• you have excellent written and spoken German at native speaker level, enabling you to communicate confidently with all stakeholders
• Furthermore, you possess a high level of organisational skills and commitment, as well as a willingness to actively participate in the rota-based emergency on-call service
• To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your professional expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and have a permanent residence in Germany
• Finally, you are a team player and always work independently, in a solution-oriented and responsible manner on all tasks and projects arising in day-to-day business
