• You will be responsible for the professional and independent handling of domestic and international shipments, including the timely coordination of all dispatch dates
• You will also be responsible for obtaining freight quotations from our designated freight forwarders to optimise transport processes
• You will also oversee the preparation of all country-specific export documents, whilst strictly adhering to current customs legislation and regulations
• Ensuring logistics service providers are commissioned in good time is also part of your daily responsibilities to ensure the smooth running of the logistics chain
• As part of your role, you will support the swift and solution-oriented handling of complaints from discerning customers
• Furthermore, you will assist with the resolution of claims with insurance companies and be responsible for the careful verification of incoming freight invoices
• Finally, you will be responsible for receiving and checking incoming goods, including loading and unloading them using a forklift truck

• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk (m/f/d), a wholesale and foreign trade clerk (m/f/d) or an industrial clerk (m/f/d)
• You also have several years’ solid professional experience in all aspects of import and export processing, as well as a valid forklift licence
• Your confident proficiency in the Atlas and MS Office and ERP systems such as SAP R3
• You have excellent written and spoken German at native speaker level, as well as a good command of English for international contacts
• Furthermore, you possess strong communication skills, assertiveness, as well as strong teamwork skills and a commitment to the role
• Finally, you are highly resilient and flexible, and are characterised by an analytical, conceptual and structured approach to your work
• To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your technical expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and have a permanent residence in Germany
