Your responsibilities

• You will be responsible for carrying out case-by-case assessments of needs and identifying suitable support measures
• You will ensure consistent intervention to protect children and young people in situations of risk
• You will also be responsible for providing comprehensive advice to mothers, fathers and other caregivers, with the aim of strengthening parenting skills. You will be responsible for the responsible fulfilment of the statutory duty of care where there are signs that a child’s welfare is at risk
• Initiating and participating in family court proceedings also form part of your remit
• Furthermore, you are responsible for the selection, authorisation and practical implementation of educational support measures in accordance with SGB VIII
• Supporting support plan procedures, community-based approaches, and close networking and cooperation with relevant institutions and stakeholders round off your role

• a degree in social work (m/f/d) or social pedagogy

• You have already gained experience in the ASD
• You impress with your calm manner, empathy and sense of responsibility
