• You will design, plan and manage the entire testing process for the control software of military communication systems running on Windows and Linux
• Your responsibilities will include the creation and maintenance of test strategies, test and verification specifications, as well as test and acceptance plans
• You ensure the quality of the software through functional, non-functional and regression tests at system and integration level
• You further develop the test framework, including CI integration and continuous test execution, and define suitable test environments
• Working closely with the development team and product managers, you will identify and rectify faults at an early stage, as well as maintain the test and quality documentation

• You have a degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or a comparable subject
• You also have at least five years’ professional experience in testing complex applications, ideally in the field of real-time or communications software
• In-depth knowledge of creating test strategies, test cases and test documentation is a strong asset
• You have practical experience with test automation using Gherkin, Python and Qt Squish, as well as with integration into GitLab CI, version control, issue tracking, test environments and debugging and profiling tools
• Furthermore, you impress with strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail and errors, good communication skills, intercultural competence and a proactive, independent, solution-oriented, team- and service-oriented approach
• To fulfil this role of responsibility, in addition to your technical expertise, you must hold a valid work permit, have a permanent residence in Germany and be fluent in German (at least C1 level)
