Specialist Civil Engineering Estimator (m/f/d)

• You will cost specialised civil engineering projects and use this to draw up competitive quotations
• You will work independently on construction projects across all sectors, including civil engineering, public works, private construction and industrial construction
• You will review and evaluate tender documents and specifications in accordance with VOB guidelines
• You will determine quantities and volumes based on plans and technical documentation
• Using a costing programme such as BRZ, you will determine costs, prices and mark-ups for services, materials, equipment and subcontractors
• You will obtain quotations from subcontractors and suppliers, compare them and negotiate where necessary
• Together with the site management and the technical department, you will develop cost-effective construction methods and solutions
• Drawing on your site experience, you will realistically assess construction processes, risks and execution conditions
• You document quotation calculations and price lists clearly and prepare them for internal approval
• When a contract is awarded, you hand over the costing basis to the project managers in a structured manner
• You will respond to enquiries from clients and project stakeholders in a communicative and reliable manner
• You will organise documents, calculations and deadlines using Microsoft 365 applications

• You have a degree in civil engineering or industrial engineering, or equivalent technical training, for example as a draughtsman (m/f/d) or technician (m/f/d) in the field of civil engineering
• You have experience in cost estimation and professional experience in specialised civil engineering
• You have site experience and are familiar with the VOB
• You are confident using a cost estimation programme, ideally BRZ, as well as Microsoft 365 applications
• Proficiency in German (C1) is part of your profile
• You are quick on the uptake and have strong communication skills
• You work in a structured manner and have strong organisational skills
• You demonstrate initiative and a passion for specialised civil engineering
