• You create colour formulations and colour samples according to customers’ individual requirements
• You develop pigment formulations in accordance with specifications and adjust them as required
• You weigh out formulations precisely, using micro-scales for this purpose
• You operate and monitor injection moulding machines and extruders
• You produce test specimens on the injection moulding machines
• You visually assess colour samples and test specimens and document the results in a traceable manner
• At your workstation, you keep machines, equipment and tools clean and in good working order
• In your work, you comply with the applicable quality and health and safety requirements

• You have completed a vocational training programme in the plastics technology sector, for example as a process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology (m/f/d), a machine and plant operator (m/f/d) or a chemical technician (m/f/d); Alternatively, you have professional experience in the plastics industry
• You have good colour vision to reliably assess colour samples and test specimens
• You have a good understanding of technical and chemical processes
• Initial experience in operating injection moulding machines and extruders is an advantage
• You have a basic command of spoken and written German
• You are willing to work a two-shift system
• You work carefully and precisely, particularly when weighing out formulations accurately using microbalances
• You reliably document results and adhere to quality and health and safety guidelines
• A valid work permit for Germany rounds off your profile
