Your new role: You will manufacture and assemble steel structures precisely in accordance with technical drawings. Cutting to size, tack-welding, welding and straightening steel components, sections and sheet metal are part of your daily tasks. You operate machinery such as saws, drills and milling machines safely and independently. You carry out dimensional and quality checks and undertake the finishing of welds and surfaces. Compliance with work, safety and quality regulations is your top priority. You will work constructively with the work planning, welding supervision and production management teams. Your qualifications You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a metalworker, metal fabricator, construction mechanic or equivalent. Ideally, you will already have experience in steel or metal construction. You are able to read and implement technical drawings with confidence, and possess knowledge of common welding processes (MAG, MIG, TIG). An independent, meticulous and responsible approach to work comes naturally to you. The ability to work as part of a team, reliability and manual dexterity round off your profile. • You have completed an apprenticeship as a metalworker (m/f/d), metal fabricator (m/f/d), machining technician (m/f/d) or hold a comparable qualification
• Ideally, you will have some initial experience in steel or metal construction
• You have experience in MAG, MIG or TIG welding
• A crane and forklift licence is an advantage, but not essential
• You are also able to read technical drawings and work to them
• You have a basic knowledge of written and spoken German
• You are willing to work shifts
• Technical understanding and manual dexterity come naturally to you
• The ability to work as part of a team, commitment, reliability and a proactive and safe approach to work are your strong points
• A valid work permit for Germany rounds off your profile
