• You will be responsible for strategic procurement, with a clear focus on indirect materials and a wide range of services for our innovative client company
• You will also be responsible for conducting structured national and international tendering processes to ensure the optimal selection of suitable partners
• Furthermore, you will oversee the preparation, execution and successful conclusion of challenging terms-and-conditions and far-reaching contract negotiations with suppliers
• Preparing well-founded make-or-buy decisions is also part of your remit, with a view to sustainably optimising operational value-added processes and making them more efficient
• As part of your role, you will support the procurement team in handling all project-related tasks directly within our client’s designated project team
• Furthermore, you will support the continuous development and systematic optimisation of all internal workflows and procurement processes at the site
• Finally, you will be responsible for the targeted management of all project requirements and will conduct regular, collaborative supplier meetings to ensure long-term quality and price stability

• You have successfully completed a degree in business administration or a technical subject such as industrial engineering (m/f/d), or hold a comparable qualification
• You also have substantial professional experience in strategic or project-based procurement, ideally within a technically oriented industrial company
• Your sound knowledge of public procurement law and fundamental legal contract knowledge are key to your day-to-day work
• You actively contribute your native-level command of written and spoken German, as well as your fluent English skills in an international business environment
• Furthermore, you demonstrate a high degree of assertiveness and strong negotiating skills when dealing with international business partners and suppliers
• Finally, you are a strong team player and work in a highly analytical, in a structured and independent manner within the dynamic project-based business of our client company
• To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your specialist expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and have a permanent residence in Germany
