• You will be responsible for optimising and managing a procurement portfolio for plastic components within the Professional Coffee Machines division, with a view to achieving the targets and expectations set by Groupe SEB for the Geislingen and Zuchwil sites, whilst working closely with the teams in China and the USA
• You will also be responsible for a procurement volume of around €40 million, spread across more than 100 suppliers and over 1,000 components made from various plastic materials (ABS, PPS, PA, PP, PVDF, etc.)
• You will be responsible for allocating business volumes to strategic suppliers in consultation with the Category Managers, consolidating the supplier panel, developing suppliers in low-cost countries, and establishing strategic partnerships
• You will be responsible for assessing supplier risks in accordance with SEB guidelines
• You will identify critical risks, define and implement measures to minimise risk, and ensure supply
• Working closely with Category Management, Supply Chain, Quality, Development and Production, you will manage supplier relationships at an operational level as well as with local strategic suppliers
• you will be responsible for developing and implementing productivity measures and cost-cutting initiatives to achieve the savings targets for the current year and subsequent years (N+1 / N+2) in close coordination with the Category Managers
• You will actively contribute to the Supplier Relationship Management process and to the definition and implementation of product group strategies
• The preparation and conduct of negotiations, including the analysis of price structures, cost breakdowns and key cost drivers, as well as identifying appropriate measures to improve competitiveness, are part of your remit
• you will support localisation and dual-sourcing projects and develop alternative supplier concepts to increase supply chain resilience
• Furthermore, you will ensure the implementation of procurement action plans at the various sites and coordinate with the respective local teams
• You will support the operational organisation in the event of critical bottlenecks, quality issues, supplier escalations or other supply-related matters
• Close collaboration with the procurement teams in China and the USA to leverage global synergies and sourcing opportunities rounds off your role

• a degree in industrial engineering, Business Administration, Engineering or a comparable qualification
• you have at least 5 years’ experience in direct procurement within an industrial company, as well as experience in procuring technical plastic components
• very good knowledge of SAP and MS Office is an advantage
• Furthermore, you feel at home in an international matrix organisation and can successfully manage various stakeholders even without direct authority to issue instructions
• Business-fluent English and German are part of your profile, and knowledge of French would be an advantage
• You are willing to travel occasionally
• You possess strong analytical and negotiation skills and can set priorities independently in a dynamic environment
• You handle uncertainty, change and conflicting demands
• You are characterised by your own initiative, strong execution skills and a results-oriented approach, as well as a structured and independent way of working
