• You will be responsible for negotiating framework agreements, as well as pricing and delivery terms, with national and international suppliers of turned parts
• You will also be responsible for the strategic selection, development and ongoing qualitative assessment of new suppliers in the global procurement market
• Furthermore, you will oversee the implementation of structured tendering processes and prepare detailed comparisons of bids to support optimal decision-making
• Analysing global procurement markets, current price trends and key cost drivers in the metalworking sector is also part of your remit
• As part of your role, you will support the definition and consistent implementation of forward-looking product group strategies aimed at sustainable cost reduction
• Furthermore, you will support close coordination with the Development, Quality Assurance and Sales departments to ensure material availability
• Finally, you will be responsible for maintaining all procurement-related terms and master data in the integrated ERP system to optimise processes

• You have successfully completed further training to become a Procurement Specialist (m/f/d), building on an apprenticeship as an Industrial Clerk (m/f/d) or Office Management Clerk (m/f/d)
• You also have several years’ professional experience – at least 3 to 5 years – in strategic procurement within a manufacturing company
• Your solid knowledge of SAP, MS Office, as well as in contract law and common manufacturing processes such as CNC turning
• You have native-level proficiency in spoken and written German, as well as a sound command of English for international coordination
• Furthermore, you possess excellent negotiation skills, a confident manner and a strong capacity for analytical and structured thinking
• Finally, you are assertive, are willing to travel extensively and always work proactively and flexibly as part of a team
• To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your technical expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and have a permanent residence in Germany
