Your responsibilities

• You will be responsible for developing and implementing forward-looking procurement strategies for the ‘Purchased and Formed Parts’ material group worldwide
• You will also monitor the global supplier market, conduct complex negotiations at the highest level and conclude legally sound framework agreements
• You will coordinate the Lead Buyers’ team from a technical perspective, harmonise the individual material group strategies and drive standardisation forward
• Furthermore, you will act as a bridge-builder (m/f/d) between sites, plants and central functions
• Working at our sites and with local partners rounds off your role

What we’re looking for

• You have at least 5 years’ solid professional experience in strategic procurement
• Ideally, you have already gained experience in the automotive sector
• You are fully proficient in using ERP systems and MS Office
• Your communication skills, technical expertise and ability to facilitate meetings are your strengths
• You possess an in-depth technical understanding of purchased parts as well as the manufacturing technologies used for formed parts (e.g. stamped, bent, pressed or forged parts)
• You are also business-fluent in German and English
• You are willing to travel as required to ensure the best possible outcome for cross-site coordination and supplier meetings, which you will conduct in person
