Switchgear fitter (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• you will assemble and construct various sub-assemblies for switchgear according to drawings and parts lists
• Using technical specifications, you’ll check that components are complete and fit correctly before assembly
• You’ll work with standard hand tools such as torque wrenches and angle drivers
• You will use a crane to transport components and assemblies to their respective assembly locations
• You will align components, secure them and fasten them using the specified torque values
• You check individual components and assemblies for dimensional accuracy and correct fit
• You document the assembly steps carried out in accordance with company guidelines
• In the event of discrepancies or inconsistencies in the parts lists, you will report these to the relevant colleagues
• You will keep your workstation clean and ensure that tools and components are stored safely
