• You will be responsible for the design, visualisation and ongoing maintenance of complex system architectures for sophisticated tactical vehicles, whilst taking into account all relevant guidelines and process requirements
• You will also be responsible for independently carrying out comprehensive feasibility studies as well as detailed installation space and collision checks using modern CAD systems at the overall system level
• Furthermore, you will oversee the ongoing coordination of all system interfaces with the internal specialist departments for mechanics, electrics and software to ensure optimal integration
• The creation and modelling of precise interface definitions within the framework of model-based systems engineering is also part of your varied responsibilities
• As part of your role, you will support the structured identification, documentation and verification of all functional requirements derived from standards, legislation and customer specifications
• Furthermore, you will support the cross-disciplinary teams in the integration, verification and validation, as well as the physical construction of innovative prototypes
• Finally, you will be responsible for the meticulous preparation and regular review of all necessary development documents, bills of materials and technical construction documentation in accordance with internal guidelines

• You have successfully completed a degree in Systems Engineering (m/f/d), Mechanical Engineering (m/f/d) or Electrical Engineering (m/f/d)
• you also have several years’ relevant professional experience as a systems architect in the development of complex technical systems and in structured systems engineering
• You stand out thanks to your solid knowledge of the CAD and PDM systems Siemens NX and Teamcenter, as well as your experience with IBM Rational DOORS
• You have excellent written and spoken German at native speaker level, as well as very good English skills for international communication
• Furthermore, you demonstrate a high degree of personal responsibility, a solution-oriented mindset and strong communication skills for interdisciplinary development teams
• Finally, you are able to work well under pressure, consistently work with precision and are willing to undertake occasional business travel
• To fulfil this responsible role, in addition to your technical expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and have a permanent residence in Germany
