You will be responsible for the professional implementation of patch management and maintenance tasks on Microsoft-based systems directly within the production environment

You will also be responsible for reliably ensuring the smooth running of the entire backup service through the consistent use of the Veeam software solution

You will also oversee the implementation of regular system maintenance within the demanding environment of modern process control systems

Providing expert services under service contracts for process control systems is also part of your day-to-day responsibilities

As part of your role, you will support the reliable implementation of OT security support services for the client

Furthermore, you will support the team in implementing measures to ensure operational and system availability in the long term

Finally, you will be responsible for handling sensitive data and information with care and at all times in a trustworthy manner, in accordance with internal guidelines and processes

REQUIREMENTS

You have completed further training as a technician (m/f/d) specialising in automation technology, electrical engineering or information technology, based on technical training as an electronics technician (m/f/d) specialising in automation technology, an IT systems electronics technician (m/f/d) or an IT specialist (m/f/d)

You also have in-depth professional experience with Microsoft operating systems as well as practical patch and backup management

You stand out thanks to your solid knowledge of IT network and communications solutions in the automation sector, as well as OT security in production environments and Yokogawa Centum VP

You have native-level proficiency in German (C2/C1), both spoken and written, to ensure smooth communication

Furthermore, you bring a high degree of reliability and a strong commitment to teamwork

Finally, you are always responsible and work with the utmost diligence and in a structured manner

To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your technical expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and have a permanent residence in Germany

• You possess sound knowledge of IT network and communications solutions in the automation sector
• You are familiar with OT security in production environments and with Yokogawa Centum VP

• You work in a responsible, conscientious and structured manner
