Job description

  • You will be responsible for producing individual component drawings, installation drawings and assembly drawings, whilst adhering to all specified internal guidelines and quality standards
  • you will also be responsible for assisting with complex documentation tasks, including verification instructions and the precise preparation of relevant review documents
  • You will also oversee the ongoing maintenance of project-specific Confluence pages and the structured tracking of all relevant JIRA tasks in day-to-day project work
  • Adapting and incorporating design changes to existing components as required is also part of your day-to-day development work
  • As part of your role, you will support the systematic creation of bills of materials, the development of complex structures and their preparation for approval in the PDM system
  • Furthermore, you will support the holistic mechanical integration of electrical components and fit-out kits into modern military vehicles in accordance with all customer requirements
  • Finally, you will be responsible for the targeted further development and design optimisation of existing components and assemblies for demanding series production


Requirements

  • You have successfully completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering (m/f/d), Automotive Engineering (m/f/d) or an apprenticeship as a Technical Product Designer (m/f/d)
  • you also have solid professional experience in the field of mechanical engineering, plant engineering or, preferably, in the construction of specialised vehicles
  • You stand out thanks to your confident proficiency in Siemens NX 3D and 2D, combined with PLM systems such as Teamcenter and JIRA
  • You have a business-fluent command of written and spoken German, as well as a good command of English for day-to-day technical communication
  • Furthermore, you demonstrate a high degree of resilience and reliability when dealing with complex tasks and tight deadlines
  • Finally, you are an excellent team player and always work independently, precisely and in a highly goal- and solution-oriented manner
