• You will manage day-to-day operations in the order picking and goods dispatch departments and ensure that everything runs smoothly
• Within the rotating shift, you will plan staff deployment and ensure that work areas are staffed according to requirements
• You will organise the daily tasks and allocate them clearly amongst the staff on your shift
• You keep a close eye on quality, health and safety, and the timely dispatch of goods
• You provide professional guidance to the staff on your shift and support them with any queries arising in day-to-day operations
• You ensure clear communication within the team, for example through shift handover briefings and brief coordination meetings
• You work closely with warehouse management and the adjacent logistics departments
• Where required, you assist with day-to-day warehouse operations, operating industrial trucks safely
• Together with the relevant managers, you optimise processes and procedures within your area of responsibility
