On behalf of our client, a medium-sized company in the automotive supply industry based in Auengrund, we are looking for you to join us as a Technical Purchaser (m/f/d) as part of a temporary placement with the option of a permanent role.

• you will be responsible for the independent preparation and detailed evaluation of complex cost and value analyses for all components relevant to procurement within the manufacturing process
• You will also be responsible for the careful review and comparative analysis of all incoming cost calculations from various supplier quotations based on key economic indicators
• furthermore, you will oversee the targeted facilitation of interactive supplier workshops to continuously improve our shared understanding of processes and collaborative working relationships
• The systematic identification and sustainable investigation of untapped savings potential throughout the entire supply chain are also part of your daily tasks
• As part of your role, you will actively support the professional preparation and implementation of challenging price negotiations with both national and international suppliers
• Finally, you will be responsible for regular operational coordination with production interfaces to ensure optimal material flows and smooth manufacturing processes

• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship as a Wholesale and Foreign Trade Management Specialist (m/f/d), Industrial Business Administrator (m/f/d) or Office Management Specialist (m/f/d)
• You also have relevant, in-depth professional experience in operational or strategic procurement within an industrial company, preferably from the automotive supply sector
• Your confident proficiency in using standard MS Office programmes and modern ERP systems sets you apart in your day-to-day work
• Your business-fluent German and good written and spoken English enable you to communicate effortlessly in this environment
• Furthermore, you hold a valid car driving licence and have a high degree of personal mobility, as the workplace is difficult to reach by public transport
• To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your technical expertise, you must also hold a valid work permit and have a permanent residence in Germany
