• You will be responsible for independently managing international procurement for various projects and will play an active role in negotiating national and international framework agreements
• You will also be responsible for the ongoing optimisation of the supplier portfolio and for the detailed evaluation of quotations based on value analysis criteria
• Furthermore, you will oversee the comprehensive maintenance of the ERP system by independently creating and updating all relevant master data, items and bills of materials
• Reliably monitoring delivery dates is also part of your role, and you will act as a competent point of contact for all suppliers should they have any queries
• As part of your role, you will support strategic materials planning and make a significant contribution to the targeted optimisation of our client’s entire stock levels
• Furthermore, you will support the team in the professional processing and review of design documents and act as the liaison between design and production
• Finally, you will be responsible for the professional preparation and regular review of all bills of materials and work plans to ensure smooth production and assembly processes

• You have successfully completed a technical apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), a machining mechanic (m/f/d) or a construction mechanic (m/f/d)
• you also have sound professional experience in technical procurement or work planning, ideally gained in the shipbuilding or hydraulics sectors
• You stand out thanks to your confident proficiency in standard MS Office applications and your in-depth experience in using ERP systems
• You have native-level written and spoken German, as well as a good and confident command of English for international communication
• Furthermore, you bring a high level of strong communication skills, as well as a solution-oriented and hands-on approach to your day-to-day work
• Finally, you are absolutely confident in accurately reading technical drawings and always work in a highly structured, reliably and independently as part of a team
• To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your technical expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and be a permanent resident in Germany
