• You will be responsible for independently processing national and international orders, whilst adhering to specified deadlines and quality standards in the metal sector
• You will also be responsible for conducting supplier meetings and targeted price negotiations in a professional manner to ensure the long-term optimisation of purchasing conditions
• Furthermore, you will oversee the ongoing maintenance and monitoring of all procurement-related bills of materials, as well as the internal inventory management systems, to ensure the availability of materials
• The independent preparation, analysis and subsequent presentation of quality-related procurement statistics are also part of your regular and responsible duties
• As part of your role, you will support the timely and professional monitoring of deadlines for all ongoing procurement processes and enquiries, in close coordination with the team
• Furthermore, you will support the operational use of the modern ERP system Alphaplan CVS to ensure transparent and comprehensive documentation of all processes
• Finally, you will be responsible for the targeted selection and evaluation of qualified suppliers for specialist components such as fittings and high-quality seals

• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), Wholesale and Foreign Trade Management (m/f/d) or Office Management (m/f/d)
• You have also gained initial or several years’ practical professional experience in operational procurement, ideally relating to the metals sector or industrial components
• your solid knowledge of standard merchandise management systems, bills of materials and the Alphaplan CVS ERP system characterises your professional approach
• your strong IT skills are a real asset
• Your business-fluent command of written and spoken German enables you to communicate confidently and with stylistic assurance
• Furthermore, you possess a high degree of negotiating skill, assertiveness and a strong mindset
• To take up this position, you must hold a valid work permit and have a permanent residence in Germany
