Your responsibilities

• You will source technical materials, components, spare parts and services
• You will obtain and compare quotations
• You will conduct price and contract negotiations with suppliers
• You will select, evaluate and manage suppliers
• You will create and process orders
• You will monitor delivery dates and quantities
• You will resolve delivery delays, complaints and quality issues
• You will maintain supplier and product master data
• You will review and optimise purchasing terms
• You will support the development and implementation of purchasing strategies
• You will identify potential savings
• You liaise with Production, Work Planning, Project Management, Warehousing and Sales
• You contribute to supplier development and supplier evaluation
• You process order confirmations and deviations

What we’re looking for

• You have completed a commercial or technical apprenticeship, e.g. as an Office Management Assistant (m/f/d), Freight Forwarding Clerk (m/f/d), Industrial Clerk (m/f/d), ideally with further training in purchasing
• Professional experience in technical purchasing is an advantage
• You are characterised by technical understanding and an interest in technical products
• You are confident using MS Office and ERP systems
• You have a good command of written and spoken German and English
• Good communication and negotiation skills round off your profile
