• You will be responsible for the independent procurement of raw materials, purchased components and operating supplies, whilst adhering to defined quality standards and internal purchasing guidelines
• You will also be responsible for obtaining, comparing and systematically evaluating various supplier quotations, including actively conducting price negotiations
• Furthermore, you will oversee the ongoing selection, evaluation and long-term development of suitable suppliers and will systematically establish alternative sourcing channels in the market
• The careful handling of supplier complaints in close collaboration with Quality Assurance is also part of your day-to-day responsibilities
• As part of your role, you will support the timely conduct of well-founded market analyses to ensure the successful implementation of sustainable measures to reduce procurement costs
• Furthermore, you will support the reliable initiation, monitoring of deadlines and tracking of all operational purchase orders to ensure optimal material availability in the long term
• Finally, you will be responsible for the accurate maintenance of all relevant purchasing master data in the ERP system, as well as close coordination with internal liaison departments

• You have successfully completed a further qualification as a business administrator (m/f/d) as well as an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk (m/f/d) or office management assistant (m/f/d)
• you also have several years’ sound professional experience in technical procurement within an industrial company, including solid knowledge of metalworking
• your confident use of common ERP systems and established MS Officeapplications set you apart in the day-to-day procurement process
• You have a business-fluent command of written and spoken German to ensure smooth communication with all business partners
• Furthermore, you bring a high level of negotiating skill, a strong awareness of costs, and a highly structured and goal-oriented approach to your work
• You are also a strong communicator, demonstrate a high degree of initiative, and impress with your strong sense of responsibility within the team
• To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your specialist expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and have a permanent residence in Germany
