• In this role, you will carry out your day-to-day work in accordance with cross-disciplinary instructions and guidelines, as well as through internal coordination, thereby ensuring that operations run smoothly
• You will create and edit construction documents such as drawings and parts lists to support production
• You will develop detailed CAD models for a specific specialist area, e.g. marine equipment, steel shipbuilding or ship design
• You will liaise with the production department and other specialist teams to resolve technical queries relating to your assigned tasks
• You will create highly complex production drawings and 3D PMI construction documents at component and assembly level
• You will create complete bills of materials at assembly level, thereby ensuring comprehensive documentation
• You will check construction documents for accuracy and completeness
• You will enter data into various IT systems, such as Product Lifecycle Management systems and SAP

• A successfully completed apprenticeship as a technical draughtsman (m/f/d), together with the relevant technical skills, forms the basis of your expertise
• You have already gained at least 1 to 2 years’ relevant professional experience in the field mentioned
• You will stand out with your sound IT skills and shipyard-specific knowledge of IT, CAD, CAM and CAE, as well as your knowledge of product lifecycle management systems
• Your profile includes confidence in using TeamCenter, NX, SAP and standard MS Office applications
• You have a good command of written and spoken German
• You meet the requirements for VS-NfD security clearance upon starting the role, regardless of the status of your security vetting
• You are characterised by your reliability and ability to work as part of a team in a cross-disciplinary environment
• You are resident in Germany and hold a valid residence permit as a candidate (m/f/d) from the EU or NATO
