• You will source raw materials, purchased parts, consumables and outsourced manufacturing for production
• You will obtain quotations, compare them and evaluate them in terms of price, quality and terms and conditions
• You will independently conduct negotiations with suppliers regarding prices, terms and conditions, and contracts
• You will also place orders, monitor their processing and consistently follow up on outstanding deadlines
• You ensure the availability of materials through active monitoring of delivery dates
• You select suppliers, evaluate their performance and further develop existing supplier relationships
• You will establish alternative sourcing channels and maintain them on an ongoing basis
• You will carry out market and price analyses and implement cost-saving measures based on these findings

• You have completed a commercial or technical apprenticeship, ideally supplemented by subject-specific further training
• You have already gained several years’ professional experience in technical procurement at an industrial company
• Knowledge of metalworking and the procurement of parts based on drawings and for production is an advantage
• A sound technical understanding and confidence in working with technical drawings are assets
• You are proficient in using ERP systems and MS Office
• You bring negotiation skills and assertiveness to price and contract discussions
• You work analytically, in a structured manner and independently
• A strong awareness of costs, quality and responsibility is important to you
• Strong communication skills, initiative and the ability to work as part of a team round off your profile
