Your responsibilities

• You will manage mechanical and electronic components and assemblies, both operationally and, to some extent, strategically, in accordance with technical drawings.
• You will handle the ordering process for the relevant product group independently
• You will also independently obtain competitive quotations and monitor international markets and suppliers
• You will continuously update purchase prices and lead times in the ERP system
• You will be responsible for processing invoices
• You will carefully compare quotations and conduct negotiations with suppliers based on technical drawings and specified target values
• In addition, you will evaluate suppliers against relevant criteria and produce meaningful price analyses
• You will play an active role in technical procurement projects

What we’re looking for

• a completed technical or commercial vocational qualification, e.g. as an office administrator (m/f/d), industrial clerk

(m/f/d), mechatronics technician

(m/f/d) or a comparable qualification, ideally supplemented by further training such as ‘Technology for Business Professionals’ (m/f/d) or similar,

• you have already gained several years’ professional experience in procurement
• you have very good knowledge of ERP systems and standard MS Office applications
• reading and interpreting technical drawings is no problem for you
• Furthermore, you possess strong communication skills and are confident when dealing with suppliers
• Good written and spoken English are part of your profile
• You are characterised by a structured and independent approach to your work
