You will be responsible for procurement for A-tier customers and act as the point of contact for any queries regarding raw materials; you will also obtain quotations and negotiate prices and delivery terms with suppliers; and you will process purchase requisitions as well as initiating, monitoring and tracking delivery schedules. Monitoring and optimising stock levels, as well as purchasing and inventory management processes, are also part of your responsibilities. You will support supplier selection, qualification and development in collaboration with the Development and Quality Management teams. You will also maintain our inventory management system; documenting orders and maintaining master data will be your responsibility. You will assist with the preparation, carrying out and monitoring stock takes, and the disposal of slow-moving items. You will also assist with obsolescence management and the implementation of measures against counterfeit electronic components. Last but not least, you will identify potential savings across all business areas at all sites

• You have a solid technical background in electronics or electrical engineering
• You also have in-depth knowledge of the procurement of technical products
• You have excellent MS Office skills and experience of working with ERP systems, ideally Navision
• You have professional experience in purchasing or materials management
• You have a very good command of German and a good command of spoken and written English
• You are characterised by an independent, reliable, structured and responsible approach to your work
• you also have the ability to remain organised and set priorities even when dealing with a wide range of issues
• you have a structured and goal-oriented approach to your work
