• You will design, engineer and build standard-compliant production and test equipment for the semi-automated manufacture and testing of customer-specific components, assemblies and devices
• You then commission new systems and produce the complete documentation – from circuit diagrams to software versioning
• You programme the necessary software: for equipment with PLCs (e.g. Siemens, Mitsubishi), for PC-based test stations (e.g. LabVIEW)
• You will also maintain, repair and further develop existing operational and test equipment at the Haan site and, where required, at other sites
• In your role, you will work closely with the development, manufacturing, Quality and Purchasing, and tailor solutions specifically to our processes
• You procure and integrate suitable off-the-shelf assemblies and devices to carry out tasks efficiently
• Furthermore, you manage the circuit diagrams and software in a structured manner (documentation, filing, back-ups) and ensure traceability
• You will also analyse faults in complex systems and resolve malfunctions in a sustainable manner
• Finally, you will manufacture new systems to order and repair components/spare parts as part of service orders – including comprehensive documentation of the process, completion and test results

• You have completed an apprenticeship or hold a technician’s qualification in electrical engineering/automation, or a comparable qualification
• You combine knowledge of software, electronics and mechanics and integrate them into a reliable overall system
• Your practical experience in automation technology, system design and the acquisition/signal processing of common physical quantities will impress us
• You are also proficient in PLC programming (e.g. Siemens, Mitsubishi); ideally, you have experience with PC-based test automation (e.g. LabVIEW)
• furthermore, you are experienced in using circuit diagram/CAD tools in electronics and MS Office
• very good Germanand English, both spoken and written, are your strong points
• A valid work permit is a given for you
