• You prepare workpieces by cleaning and degreasing metals and creating joint profiles by grinding or milling
• You align components according to technical drawings, assemble them and secure them with tack welds
• You provide equipment such as inert gas (e.g. argon), torches, tungsten electrodes and filler materials
• You produce precise fusion welds on sheet metal, tubes and sections, primarily made of stainless steel, aluminium or steel
• You weld multi-part assemblies or pipework to exact fit during sub-assembly
• You grind and clean welds, removing any contaminants
• You independently inspect the finished welds for cracks, porosity or dimensional accuracy as part of visual and quality inspections
• You document your work and verify compliance with the specifications set out in welding instructions

• You have experience in TIG welding; valid welding certificates and, where applicable, knowledge of MAG welding are desirable
• Professional experience is desirable
• You stand out for your knowledge of steel and pipework construction
• You have a good command of spoken German and hold valid work permits
• A driving licence for passenger cars is an advantage
• You are a team player, independence and a sound level of care and precision
