TIG welder (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You’ll weld pipework using the TIG process in accordance with technical drawings
• You’ll align and tack-weld pipework components with precise fit before welding
• Seam preparation and cleaning of the weld edges are also part of your duties
• You check the weld seams for dimensional accuracy and visual quality
• You set welding parameters such as current and gas flow according to the material and wall thickness
• You will document the welding work carried out in accordance with the specifications
• You will carry out minor finishing work and repairs to weld seams independently
• You handle welding equipment, tools and materials with care and keep your workstation tidy

What we’re looking for

• You have completed an apprenticeship as

Plant Mechanic (m/f/d),

Construction Mechanic (m/f/d),

Pipework Fitter (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification

• You have experience in TIG welding
• You are also able to read technical drawings and work to them
• Basic knowledge of German, both spoken and written, sets you apart
• You demonstrate a willingness to work shifts
• Technical understanding and manual dexterity come naturally to you
• The ability to work as part of a team, commitment, reliability and a proactive, independent approach to work are your strengths
• A valid work permit for Germany rounds off your profile
