• You will carry out complex back-office tasks relating to electricity contracts, including electricity supply contracts and battery storage transactions, in accordance with internal guidelines and processes
• You will also be responsible for preparing, checking and processing statements and invoices to ensure a timely flow of payments for business partners
• you will also oversee the conduct of business reviews, validations and data quality checks to support operational operations
• Investigating settlement enquiries, payment discrepancies and quantity and price variances is also part of your day-to-day responsibilities
• As part of your role, you will support close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure operational requirements are met and implemented
• Furthermore, you will support the maintenance and monitoring of strict controls, evidence and documentation to ensure transparent processes and audit readiness
• Finally, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities for optimisation to simplify, standardise and automate all relevant processes in the face of growing transaction volumes, as well as providing operational support for new products and system initiatives in energy trading

• You have successfully completed a degree in Economics (m/f/d), Energy Economics (m/f/d) or Computer Science (m/f/d), ideally with a focus on energy trading
• you also have relevant professional experience in trading operations, back-office functions or commodities trading, with a focus on the settlement and dispute resolution of complex energy contracts
• your solid knowledge of SAP, Endur and Microsoft Office, reporting and automation tools
• You have native-level written and spoken German, as well as fluent English for effective communication within an international team
• Furthermore, you possess a high degree of analytical thinking and attention to detail, and are able to maintain an overview even when dealing with large volumes of data
• You are also team-oriented and always work conscientiously to tackle operational challenges effectively and in a solution-oriented manner
• To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your specialist expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and be permanently resident in Germany
