• You will operate diesel locomotives in shunting and transfer operations
• You carry out shunting work in accordance with BOA independently and safely
• You undertake journeys on handover tracks and hand over wagons to the public infrastructure
• You carry out brake tests conscientiously before departure
• You inspect freight wagons for obvious defects as part of Level 1 wagon inspection by visual inspection
• You carefully document any defects and anomalies identified
• You liaise with colleagues, the control centre and other parties involved to coordinate operational procedures
• Before each assignment, you will check the locomotive to ensure it is safe and in good working order
• You will observe the applicable safety and operational regulations during all shunting and driving activities

• You hold a full qualification as a BOA train driver (m/f/d) or, alternatively, as a BOA shunting supervisor (m/f/d)
• You have the technical understanding required to safely inspect and operate locomotives and carriages
• You are known for your reliability and ability to work independently
• A valid car driving licence is essential
• You must be available to work shifts in a 3-shift system
• You have a good command of written and spoken German
• A valid work permit is required
