• You will be responsible for the professional and expert processing of incoming applications for the authorisation of heavy goods vehicle transport in the federal state of Thuringia
• You will also be responsible for carefully carrying out complex route checks with regard to bend radii and sufficient road widths
• Furthermore, you will liaise closely with the Thuringian State Office for Transport to ensure the optimal handling of all transport-related projects
• Providing technical support and recording road conditions using data technology will also form part of your daily tasks in this varied role
• As part of your important role, you will support the dedicated team in analysing complex GIS data to monitor ongoing traffic trends
• Furthermore, you will support the project management team in the detailed evaluation of geometric measurement data to ensure a sustainable and safe road infrastructure

• You have successfully completed a degree in civil engineering, transport engineering or a comparable discipline, providing you with a solid educational foundation
• You also have in-depth practical professional experience in the field of transport planning or in handling complex road-related planning permission procedures
• Your confident use of modern geographic information systems (GIS) and standard MS Office applications sets you apart in your day-to-day work
• You have native-level written and spoken German to ensure effective communication with public authorities
• To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your technical expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and be permanently resident in Germany
