Your responsibilities

You’ll be the point of contact for customers regarding any queries about their booked holiday, via telephone and email. You’ll independently handle changes to bookings, such as rebooking flights and hotels, you handle independently. You implement upgrades to meal plans or room categories at the customer’s request. You register and process additional services such as sports luggage or special customer requests. You carefully record specific requirements, such as allergies, are carefully recorded and passed on accordingly. For tour guides:within the destination areas, you are the main point of contact for enquiries regarding existing bookings. You handle customer enquiries both by telephone and in writing with a strong focus on customer service. You document the processing of customer enquiries and booking changes in the system. For more complex issues, you liaise with internal specialist departments or partners:

What we’re looking for

• You have completed a vocational qualification as a travel agent (m/f/d) or tourism specialist (m/f/d); alternatively, you have at least two years’ practical experience in the tourism sector
• You enjoy speaking on the telephone and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• You have some initial experience in providing customer support both over the phone and in writing
• A strong focus on quality and service is second nature to you
• Reliability and team spirit round off your profile
• Even in challenging situations, you maintain a friendly and solution-oriented tone
