- You will be responsible for carrying out quality-related ultrasonic testing (UT) on manufactured aluminium profiles directly on the production line whilst production is in progress
- You will also be responsible for placing the workpieces in the water bath and carrying out the tests in accordance with specified test plans
- Furthermore, you will oversee the professional metrological inspection, as well as the systematic evaluation and comprehensive documentation of all measured test results
- Your duties will also include independently marking defective components and consistently sorting out substandard scrap
- As part of your role, you will support the carrying out of spot checks and quality controls in close collaboration with Quality Assurance
- Furthermore, you will facilitate close cooperation with Production to prevent quality deviations and ensure compliance with all testing regulations
- Finally, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of recurring inspection routines across three shifts, whilst adhering to strict health and safety guidelines
Requirements
- You have completed an apprenticeship as a materials tester (m/f/d), quality specialist (m/f/d) or industrial mechanic (m/f/d) with a technical background
- you also hold a DIN EN ISO 9712 certification in ultrasonic testing (UT) at Level 1 or higher
- Your sound knowledge and practical experience in non-destructive testing (NDT) of metal profiles set you apart in your day-to-day work
- Business fluency in spoken and written German is essential for the precise preparation of measurement and test reports
- Furthermore, you bring a high degree of quality awareness, reliability and a willingness to work in a three-shift system
