• You will receive incoming deliveries and check them for completeness and any damage in transit
• You will carefully check the delivered goods against the delivery documents
• You will store and retrieve goods in accordance with best practice
• You keep stock locations and levels up to date and record movements in the system
• You prepare customer orders using pick lists or a scanner
• You pack goods ready for dispatch and label them correctly
• You load and unload vehicles safely and correctly, using industrial trucks such as hand pallet trucks where necessary
• You prepare consignments for collection by hauliers and parcel services
• You ensure that storage areas are clean, tidy and safe, whilst complying with health and safety regulations
• During stock-taking, you assist by counting and recording stock levels

• Previous experience in a warehouse or in logistics would be an advantage, but is not essential
• You work carefully and reliably, even when goods and delivery documents need to be checked against each other
• You have a basic knowledge of spoken German (minimum level)
• A valid work permit is required
• You are physically fit, as you will be lifting, carrying and moving goods
• Adhering to health and safety regulations and maintaining order in the workplace comes naturally to you
• You are comfortable using scanners and pick lists, or can quickly get to grips with them
• You are a team player and communicate openly
