Warehouse employee (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You’ll pick transport packaging and prepare it for dispatch
• You’ll pick fibres, preforms and quartz glass and prepare them for dispatch according to lists
• You will pack the products professionally for dispatch
• You will print out the prepared delivery documents and check them to ensure all figures are correct
• You will accept consignments of goods and carry out a physical goods-in inspection by checking the items and quantities
• As part of the monthly and annual stock-takes, you will determine stock levels by counting and weighing
• You dispose of cardboard packaging by placing it in the appropriate containers
• You assess the reusability of packaging materials by visual inspection
• You transfer goods between sites

What we’re looking for

• You must hold a valid driving licence, as goods need to be moved between sites
• Experience with SAP and a forklift licence would be an advantage
• Ideally, you’ll have a basic technical understanding of packaging processes
• You’re meticulous and precise in your work, particularly when picking orders and checking quantities
• You must be physically fit enough to lift and store goods
• You are characterised by reliability, the ability to work as part of a team and good communication skills in day-to-day warehouse operations
