Warehouse logistics specialist (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You’ll receive goods at the goods-in department and check them for completeness and quality
• Storing goods correctly is just as much a part of your role as carrying out regular stock checks
• You will pick goods and pack them ready for dispatch
• You will operate industrial trucks, such as forklift trucks, safely as part of day-to-day warehouse operations
• You will record all goods movements reliably and carefully in the warehouse management system
• You check delivery documents and reconcile them with the actual stock levels
• You help out with preparing order picks and dispatch orders
• You ensure order and cleanliness in the warehouse area through regular checks

What we’re looking for

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a Warehouse Logistics Specialist (m/f/d), Warehouse Clerk (m/f/d) or Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Clerk (m/f/d)
• Initial experience in the metal industry is an advantage, but not essential
• You have experience working with warehouse management systems
• Ideally, you hold a valid forklift licence or are willing to learn how to operate industrial trucks
• You are characterised by your careful and responsible approach to work, particularly when checking and storing goods
• You have a basic working knowledge of spoken German (minimum level)
• You must hold a valid work permit
• Teamwork and communication skills round off your profile
