• You will be involved in the day-to-day operation of the wastewater and sludge treatment plants and help to ensure that the treatment processes run smoothly
• As part of the mechanical-biological and chemical treatment processes at the wastewater treatment plant, you will operate and monitor the plant components
• You will oversee anaerobic sludge treatment and sludge dewatering during ongoing operations
• You will carry out regular maintenance and servicing work on the wastewater treatment plant
• In doing so, you will comply with health and safety, environmental and health protection regulations
• As part of the rota for on-call and weekend duties, you ensure the operational safety of the plant

• a completed apprenticeship as a wastewater technology specialist (m/f/d) or a water supply and waste disposal technician (m/f/d) You have specialised in wastewater treatment, or alternatively, you have completed an apprenticeship in the electrical or metalworking trades, or as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d) with solid experience in wastewater technology
• A basic course for sewage treatment plant operators (m/f/d) would be an advantage
• You have good manual dexterity
• You have IT skills and knowledge of plant control systems
• You have a basic command of spoken German
• You are willing to take on on-call duty and weekend shifts on a rota basis
• You are committed, independent and responsible in your work
• A valid work permit rounds off your profile
