Your responsibilities

Requirements: -Technical skills in TIG and MIG/MAG welding -Welding expertise + valid welding certificates 141 (TIG) and 135 (MAG) -Interest in sheet metal working

Tasks: -Material preparation: cutting to size, adjusting and aligning stainless steel sheets (mostly V4A/1.4571 or 1.4404, seawater- and chlorine-resistant) -Tank construction: welding the tank walls, base and corners together to form a watertight tank -Internal seam welding: welding the internal seams to round off sharp edges and minimise the risk of injury -Leak-tightness testing: Testing the weld seams for leak-tightness (e.g. using a water pressure test, dye penetration test or leak detection spray) -Finishing: Grinding, polishing and passivating the welds to prevent rust or corrosion -Quality control: Visual inspection and documentation of the welds in accordance with customer specifications
