Your responsibilities

• You will carry out welding work on components and structures in accordance with drawings and specifications
• Before welding, you will prepare the workpieces, for example by cleaning and tack welding
• You’ll select and set the appropriate welding processes, parameters and filler materials
• Quality and visual inspections of the welds are also part of your responsibilities
• After welding, you finish the seams, for example by grinding or removing weld spatter
• In doing so, you ensure compliance with drawing specifications, tolerances and quality standards
• You will regularly maintain and look after the welding equipment and tools
• You will carefully document the work you have carried out

What we’re looking for

• You have practical experience in welding (e.g. MAG/MIG, TIG, manual arc welding) – an official welding certificate is not a requirement; practical skills are what count
• You are confident in using common welding processes and equipment
• Experience in reading technical drawings is an advantage
• You are characterised by technical understanding and manual dexterity
• A basic knowledge of German and a valid work permit are an advantage
• You’re happy to work shifts
• A Class B driving licence and your own car are an advantage
• You work in a reliable, meticulous and independent manner
