• During inspections at the waste-to-energy plant, you will carry out maintenance, repair and refurbishment work independently, in accordance with drawings or work orders
• You will carry out repair and contract welding work on boiler tubes, tube walls and wear surfaces, for example armouring or cladding
• You will professionally replace damaged sections of tubing
• You will carry out welding in accordance with process and personnel qualifications, for example in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9606, and assist in preparing weld seam inspections
• Fitting and pipework on boilers, grates and drives also form part of your remit
• You carry out repairs on grates, rollers, drives, gearboxes, bearings, pumps and fans
• You replace wear parts, seals and fittings as required
• You align machine parts and adjust them precisely
• You bear technical responsibility for quality and health and safety in the work carried out
• Where necessary, you supervise assistants and organise work steps effectively
• You document the work carried out carefully and in a traceable manner

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), metalworker (m/f/d) or construction mechanic (m/f/d)
• You have experience in welding boiler tubes and pipe walls, for example in repair and build-up welding
• Welding examinations in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9606 or comparable personal qualifications are a given for you
• You can read drawings and work orders confidently and implement them independently
• You are familiar with metalworking and pipework, as well as the repair of actuators, gearboxes, bearings and pumps
• Your profile includes a good command of spoken German and a valid work permit
• You are willing to work shifts
• You work meticulously and independently, with a strong focus on quality and safety
